KISS Young People's Clinics

KISS is the name for young people's dedicated clinics across the service. All our services are:

sexualhealthpreg
  • CONFIDENTIAL

  • All KISS services are confidential meaning that you can tell other people about your visit but we won't, even if you are under 16.

  • YOUNG PERSON FRIENDLY

  • All KISS staff regularly work with young people and will offer non judgemental sexual health advice. They will also be able to provide referrals and advice on other young people's services that might interest you.

  • FREE

  • KISS is completely free, whatever you use it for. All our clinics are walk in, so you do not need permission or an appointment to attend.

KISS offers a complete sexual health service including the following:

  • C-CARD

    • Pick up free condoms across Hounslow by signing up for a C-card

  • CONTRACEPTION

    • Trained nurses and doctors will provide contraception (methods to prevent pregnancy) including the pill, implant and injection

  • EMERGENCY CONTRACEPTION

    • If you have had a risk of pregnancy in the last 72 hours, emergency contraception - 'the morning after pill' can be picked up from KISS

  • CHLAMYDIA SCREENING

    • Chlamydia is the most common STI. It is important to get tested every new partner. Testing is simple and chlamydia is treatable, preventing nasty long term problems

  • STI TESTING

    • If you have symptoms or worried you have infection you get a 'full check up' at KISS too

  • PREGNANCY TESTING

    • If you are worried you are pregnant, or know you are pregnant but not sure what to do nurses can test you and go through your options, making referrals after you have made your decision

  • ADVICE

    • Health Advisers experienced in sexual health issues will be able to answer all your questions and point you in the right direction

  • RELATIONSHIPS

    • You can also speak in depth with someone about relationships and talk to someone about emotions, pressures or feelings around sex

Under 16?

Anyone can use our service, even if you are under 16. You are entitled to the same confidenitality as those over the age of 16. No information will be shared with your family home, doctor or school without your permission. The only time confidentiality is broken is to protect you or someone else from danger or harm. If a sexual health worker has these concerns, they will always discuss this with you first.
