Neurology

Neurology is the diagnosis and treatment of disorder of the nervous system, such as headaches, epilepsy, numbness, Parkinson’s disease, loss of movement or memory. Neurologists diagnose and treat impaired function of the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, muscles and autonomic nervous system, as well as the blood vessels that relate to these parts of the body.

The neurology department aims to provide a secondary diagnosis service for the local population, and deals with the on-going management of chronic neurological disorders.
