Dermatology

The dermatology team at West Middlesex University Hospital is a consultant led team focussing on high quality clinical care, with excellent ratings based on patient satisfaction surveys.  

We offer a fully comprehensive dermatology service including a wide range of specialist clinics. Our Day treatment unit offers education, intensive topical therapy and phototherapy allowing the huge majority of patients to be treated on an outpatient basis. We are closely linked with the Chelsea and Westminster Dermatology Department where our consultants attend clinics and where we have inpatient beds.

We are located in a modern bright purpose-built unit at the West Middlesex Hospital site with ample car parking and public transport facilities.

We value our role in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and have achieved excellent ratings in these.

Dermatology day treatment unit:

We offer narrowband UVB and PUVA phototherapy including hand and foot PUVA , topical therapies and patient education.

Early and late appointments.

Telephone advice during clinic hours.

Teaching and training:

We teach Imperial College medical students, GP vocational trainees, GP colleagues, district nurses and practice nurses. Our team have specific training in dermatology teaching and we have consistently excellent feedback for our teaching programme.
