Women should be reassured that PIP implants have never been used in surgery performed at the Breast Care Unit at West Middlesex Hospital. However, if women have any concerns about their breasts or think that their implant may have ruptured they should seek the advice of their GP in the first instance who can refer them to the hospital where appropriate.
