West Middlesex Hospital works with over 295 registered volunteers.

Currently, volunteers are working across 46 departments in the hospital.

This year (2011) there were a total of 93 volunteers recruited.
Our Volunteer Program
Our Volunteer program is designed to engage volunteers seven days a week; Volunteers usually work shifts of two to four hours per day and may work one or more days/evenings per week depending on scheduling needs. Assignments are determined based on skills, personality and interests.

The Volunteer Process
General Volunteers (Aged 17 and Over)
1. Complete Application
2. Participate in interview conducted by Volunteer Services
3. Undergo Occupational Health Clearance
4. Attend Local Induction prior to starting (Held once a Month)
Junior Volunteer Program (aged 15-17 years)
1. Complete Application
2. Participate in interview conducted by Volunteer Services
3. Have School Reference Form completed by Form Tutor
4. Undergo Occupational Health Clearance
5. Attend Local Induction prior to starting (held once a month)
