1. What are the opening times for the Main Reception?
We are open Monday to Friday 8am-5.30pm
2. What do we do outside of these hours?
You can use the Info point phone system (situated near WH Smith) to call switchboard free of charge or to call any of the ward if you know where the patient is.
3. Do I still have to pay for car parking even if I have a disabled badge?
Everybody pays for car parking regardless, however you can claim for travel costs if you’re in receipt of the following benefits:
· Income support
· Income –based jobseeker’s allowance
· Pension Credit Guaranteed Credit
· Are entitled to, or named on , a valid NHS tax credit exemption certificate

4. Is there any concession for car parking if you’re visiting long stay patients?
We offer a limited number of concessionary parking permits and dedicated bays to carers attending the hospital for a prolonged period of time. Only one concessionary permit is available per patient. For more information and application forms please ask at the Main reception or contact us on:

5. Is there a cash point in the hospital?
Yes, there’s one situated within our WHSmith Store. And is only available during shop opening times which are: Mon-Fri 7.30am-8pm, Saturday and Sunday 9am-7pm
6. What are the hospital visiting times?
General visiting times are 2pm-8pm, but please check with the wards as some times these opening times may change depending on circumstances.
7. How can I find out what ward my friend/relative is in?
You can ask at the main reception and we will check in our system for their whereabouts. Please make sure that you know your friends/relatives address or date of birth as we can not disclose any information of our patients if you do no have the necessary required information.
8. Does the hospital Café/Restaurant accept card payments?
No, only cash payments accepted at the moment.
9. Is there a post box with in the hospital?
There isn’t one in the hospital premises but there is one situated just outside of the hospital on Twickenham Road. Alternatively you can leave your stamped mail with us and it will go out with our outgoing post.
10. What are the pharmacy opening times?
Outpatient Pharmacy is open: Mon-Fri 9.10am-5.30pm, closed during the week-end.
11. Is there access to the Internet or WI-FI connection with in the hospital?
Internet or WI-FI access is not available within the hospital, however there’s an internet cafe which is located by Bush Corner off the London Road.
