West Middlesex University Hospital is an award winning, modern, busy acute hospital in West London. We serve a local population of around 400,000 people, covering the London Boroughs of Hounslow and Richmond upon Thames and neighbouring areas. Our vision is to be a first class hospital for our community and to provide high quality care in every way.
Employing over 1,800 people, the hospital has around 400 beds. The Trust has an annual budget in excess of £154 million. West Middlesex has an impressive record: we perform well in comparative assessments of clinical performance.
Under the North West London strategy, Shaping a Healthier Future, the Trust has been designated as a major hospital, which will bring a significant expansion of our services.
We also provide services to local residents in association with: The Brompton Hospital, Great Ormond Street Hospital, The Royal Marsden Foundation Trust, Chelsea and Westminster Foundation Trust, North West London Hospitals, Ealing Hospital and the Hammersmith and Charing Cross sites of Imperial Healthcare NHS Trust.
We recognise that part of the strength of the Trust is the dedication and commitment shown by everyone who works here. As a teaching hospital, we understand that we need to support all members of our staff in their personal development, whether that be through clinical qualifications or otherwise. Above all, West Middlesex is an extremely friendly place to work.
