Organisation

West Middlesex Hospital is a major acute hospital in Isleworth, West London. It serves a local population of around 400,000 people covering the London Boroughs of Hounslow and Richmond Upon Thames. Its local commissioners of acute services are Hounslow and Richmond & Twickenham Primary Care Trusts.
 

The Trust is run by a board of directors. The Executive Directors are responsible for the day-to-day running of the organisation. The Non-executive Directors, bring their independence and specialised expertise to the Board, providing the necessary checks and balances to ensure that governance of the organisation is sound.

 

Board meetings take place every eight weeks and are open to the public. They are chaired by the Trust Chairman who is a Non-executive Director.
